Thankfully, Brighter Planet provided the effort necessary to "offset" us. Once again, we will be looking to maintain a focus on these organizations and their efforts while presenting some great music in a beautiful setting for music, food and family fun. We’re repeating last year’s effort by powering the stage with a renewable energy source provided by Green Mt. Power. The day's performances will begin around 1:00 with They Might Be Gypsies from just down the road in Middlebury followed by San Francisco based and local “On the Rise” favorite Garrin Benfield at 2:45, former Mammals members Mike and Ruthy and their Band at around 4:45, and finally the Brooklyn via Chicago based country-alt singer/songwriter and our headliner this year, Robbie Fulks and his Band at 7:00 p.m. This year's August 7th event promises to be even bigger as there will be four acts and lots of food and fun for the whole family. The Valley Stage is proud to be sponsored by Huntington Valley Arts, a not for profit organization. |
