The third annual Valley Stage Music Festival took place in the Huntington Valley and was blessed with a gorgeous day while other parts of Vermont were experiencing torrential downpours and occasional hail storms. The great music and food were supplemented by vendors and sponsors with green/sustainability themes. There was even an assessment of the carbon footprint that the event had on the environment. Thankfully, Brighter Planet provided the effort necessary to "offset" us.
Once again, we will be looking to maintain a focus on these organizations and their efforts while presenting some great music in a beautiful setting for music, food and family fun. This year the stage will be powered by a renewable energy source provided by Green Mt. Power.
The day's performances will begin around 1:00 with Nashville based singer/songwriter Christopher Williams, followed by Michigan natives May Erlewine and Seth Bernard at 2:45, The Defibulators out of Brooklyn at around 4:45, followed by the San Francisco based quartet and our headliners this year, The Waybacks at 7:00 p.m.
