Clara Rose and Raphaella Hero
Jan. 29, 2025 – 7:30pm
Stating our purpose.
“Above all, our music represents a way of being together; patient, present, compassionate, embodied, playful, Kind, and curious. This is the spirit of improvisation. We aim to make every performance an invitation to simply be – to put down what you carry, and enter the present moment in the safe embrace of acoustic sound, creative mastery, and grace.”
The two violinists traveled together in Sweden in 2023. They feel that their work as a duo is best described as folk-inspired improvisational music for meditation and connection. Informed by their journey together and respective training in both formal and free improvisation, and in the traditional forms of many places, they put into practice the skills and sensibilities that those traditions have taught us.

Valley Stage Productions recently moved to Weybridge, VT. In addition to our concert series; “P.M. Sundays” held at Richmond Congregational Church in Richmond we’ve decided to host periodic house concerts known as “What About Wednesdays?!” House Concerts allow the audience to experience an intimate performance in a small setting.
We have space for 35-40 people. A $25 donation is recommended with all proceeds going to the artist. If you’d like to make a reservation please contact us at 802-557-7589 or don@valleystage.net. Please let us know 48 hours in advance (Monday evening) if you are unable to attend. We will maintain a waiting list once we’ve sold out and will contact those interested in being alerted to there being an open seat or seats available when we get a cancellation. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. You may start arriving at 7:00 p.m.
The concert will be held on the 2nd floor of my house located at 3345 Quaker Village Rd. in Weybridge. There is no elevator and a small flight of stairs. We’d appreciate it if you could bring a second pair of indoor shoes or slippers. BYOB. Light refreshments will be provided.
